“ENDLICH”. The campaign changing the perceptions of cannabis in Germany

To remove the taboos and educate the public about medical cannabis, the campaign “ENDLICH” was created and developed by Curaleaf’s Four20 Pharma and Sanity Group. Since 1st April 2024, cannabis has been partially legalised in Germany, and with the removal of cannabis from the narcotics list, doctors can now prescribe medical cannabis more easily.

The “ENDLICH” campaign which launched shortly after the law changed, aims to provide objective fact-based information on cannabis with the help of personalities within medicine, sports and culture. To promote greater awareness of the campaign, SC Paderborn 07 recently launched a special jersey which the team wore in October featuring the “ENDLICH” logo. The campaign could be seen and heard from all angles of the stadium with informational booths, 15,000 flyers and pre-game interviews.

Four 20 Pharma’s CEO, Thomas Schatton, emphasised the importance of education: “Rejection often stems from a lack of information. Through this campaign, we’ve been able to start meaningful conversations and highlight the impact medical cannabis can have for patients.”

SC Paderborn’s Managing Director, Martin Hornberger, expressed pride in supporting the cause: “We’re thrilled with the positive response and are proud to contribute to breaking the stigma surrounding medical cannabis.”
