Where we cultivate
Lisbon
Our facility stands in the heart of Portugal as one of Europe’s long-standing cultivation sites and the first to be licensed in the country. Spanning 25,000 m² of greenhouse space, it is a centre of excellence where botanical expertise and scientific precision come together. Every plant is cultivated under Good Agricultural and Collection Practices (GACP) before being processed to EU Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards at our nearby facility in Setúbal.
Toronto
At the forefront of medical cannabis production, Northern Green Canada (NGC) is an EU GMP-certified indoor cultivation and processing facility serving markets across three continents. Within its 27,000-square-foot growing space, every plant is nurtured under tightly controlled conditions for a consistent, high-quality yield.
NGC is also home to a specialised post-harvest and processing facility capable of handling 25 tons of cannabis annually. With a team of seasoned experts and a focus on precision cultivation, NGC plays a critical role in the global supply of high-quality medicinal cannabis, reinforcing our commitment to excellence at every stage.
Processing
We take pride in our product. At every stage, we handle the plant with the care and respect it deserves, so that the final result supports patient experiences we’d put our name to.
Harvesting
After harvesting, our plants are dried, homogenised, refined and cured to preserve the active compounds while preventing mould and degradation, following strict standards set by Good Agricultural and Collection Practices (GACP) and EU GMP.
Purification & Refinement
Purification and refinement – further processing removes unwanted plant materials for a pure and consistent final product.
Quality Control
The flowers are carefully packaged and analysed for final quality checks before they begin making their way to extraction facilities or distributors near and far.
