BBC feature Curaleaf cultivation, manufacturing and clinic in the news

BBC News delved into the seed-to-patient journey at Curaleaf with journalist Adam Clarkson visiting the Portuguese cultivation site and state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Sunderland.

Nuno Mendonça, General Manager of Iberia for Curaleaf International, emphasises the importance of our rigorous approach to cultivation and production: “The users of the illicit market have no idea what’s behind the product they are purchasing. One of the most important aspects of production is to get consistency.”

Since medical cannabis was legalised in the UK in 2018, Curaleaf has significantly expanded patient access, providing care to tens of thousands of patients with conditions such as anxiety, depression and chronic pain.
